Ian Corner is the founder of W3IT, providing strategic IT and cybersecurity expertise to small and medium-sized businesses. With over 20 years’ experience, he helps organisations build secure, scalable technology environments that reduce risk, improve reliability, and support sustainable growth.
His background spans IT management, infrastructure, e-commerce, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity, with experience supporting both growing businesses and enterprise-scale projects.
Ian has worked with organisations and consulting firms including Racal Group and Capgemini, contributing to disciplined, structured technology delivery and bringing that level of best practice to smaller business clients.
Having built and operated his own businesses, Ian understands the real-world pressures business owners face — balancing security, cost, reliability, and day-to-day operations.
He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Oxford Brookes University and industry-recognised certifications in cloud and infrastructure.
